Language Learning and Teaching with the aid of Technology

This video demos an activity using Second Life to teach how to give and take directions in German. It adds an element of competition and 'danger' and is adaptable to any language. The objects, instructions and rules are available for free except for the piranha rezzer. Just send a request by IM to Doktor Tammas in Second Life. I paid L$750 (USD 3) for the piranha rezzer which allows you to make an unlimited number of piranhas. The TP link to the store is included in the instructions. Developed by Thom Thibeault, Southern Illinois University.
