CALICO deadline--October 31st!!!
A reminder that the annual Computer Assisted Language Instruction
Consortium (CALICO) conference will be held in Victoria, British
Columbia, Canada from May 17th-21st, 2011.
The deadline for submitting proposals to present at the conference is Oct 31st, 2010. Find the call for proposals here:

P.S. Victoria is an absolutely beautiful town (capital of BC), on
Vancouver island (stunning), and is a short ferry ride from Vancouver,
Canada, and also a ferry ride away from Port Angeles, Washington and
Seattle. Well sort visiting!!

I know the venue well. I have been to Victoria on many occasions. My wife Sally has cousins who live on the nearby Saltspring Island. I would love to go to CALICO 2011, but in my present state of health I am unable to afford travel insurance.
