Language Learning and Teaching with the aid of Technology

Book, papers and articles on language teaching in virtual worlds

Hi everyone

I would like to draw your attention to this page on our SLExperiments wiki, where we have been collecting resources related to language education in Second Life and other virtual worlds. Most interesting for you might be the books, articles and research papers: http://slexperiments.pbworks.com/SL-Educational-Links

The latest addition is a book which looks very useful for teachers starting out in Second Life. This is available as a free e-book but a print version can also be requested here. It is not about language teaching but most of what it says applies to any kind of teaching in SL:

Best Practices in Virtual Worlds Teaching - A guide to using problem-based learning in Second Life http://previewpsych.org/BPD2.0.pdf

Thanks to Anna Begonina for tweeting the link to the book!

Thanks Graham!
I already have both links on the wiki page mentioned above.
But I am always happy to be reminded of existing and new resources.
