Second Life launches its new Viewer 2

Second Life launches its new Second Life Viewer 2. It looks a lot easier to use than the current viewer - it leans quite a lot on standard Web browsers with which people are likely to be familiar, and it may shorten the learning curve for newbies.

New Scene at CALICO/EUROCALL Holodeck--Forest Seating

Greetings all,



I've just added in a new scene to the holodeck. This one is a forest scene, that will give you a 360 degree view from inside the forest! In addition to the all-important fire circle, there is log seating, a picnic blanket with a fully stocked picnic basket, marshmallow roasting, and more! Diary of a Second Life English Teacher … Part 7

The spring Business Talking course started last Thursday with the course launch. Between 3pm and 6pm our time we had 63 avatars in total on Kamimo, with about 40 Americans there to find about 20 'Swedish' buddies, so that they could whisk them away and get extra credit for recording the 'Swedes'' reactions to what they'd seen.
